Core responsibilities

The special educator will work with early intervention students, providing individualized lessons targeting goals from the individualized family service plan (Ifsp) and developing creative, multi-Sensory lessons based on these goals. Responsibilities also include collecting progress information, reporting quarterly, maintaining accurate attendance, submitting electronic billing daily, and attending ifsp meetings.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a nys students with disabilities b-Grade 2 certification and demonstrate passion for working with children and families, along with strong communication and collaboration skills. A minimum of one year of experience in supporting children and families is preferred, and bilingual skills are a plus.
