Education Specialist K-5 (Special Education Teacher Mild/Moderate) 2026 -2027 School Year

Education specialists are responsible for providing assessment services, developing and implementing individualized education plans (Ieps), and supporting students with disabilities within the general education setting. Duties include providing individualized instruction, collaborating with general education teachers on strategies, and fostering student growth through various learning techniques and assessments.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a valid california or out-Of-State/Country credential, along with passing the basic skills test (Cbest). Preferred qualifications include at least one year of relevant experience working with students and english learner authorization or clad.
