About the Role

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging swim lessons for individuals and groups of varying skill levels.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants.
• Develop lesson plans tailored to the needs and goals of each swimmer.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and areas for improvement.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area and teaching materials.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Promote swim safety awareness and best practices to students and families.

Requirements

• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Previous experience teaching swim lessons or coaching is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Passion for swimming and a commitment to student development.
• Must be at least 17 years old and have reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of swim techniques and safety protocols is essential.
• Enthusiasm for working with children and adults alike.
