A Swim Instructor teaches swim lessons to children and adults using fun, gentle, and progressive methods, focusing heavily on providing survival swim techniques to decrease drowning incidents. Responsibilities include supporting leadership, following the established curriculum, and working required afternoon, evening, and holiday shifts.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess an enthusiastic personality, being comfortable in and around the water. While strong swimming skills and prior experience with children or customer service are preferred, the role requires maintaining necessary certifications and completing all required company-specific training.

A Swim Instructor at British Swim School teaches swim lessons to children and adults, starting at 3 months old using our fun, gentle and progressive methods. You will receive extensive training to build your confidence and ability to work with a variety of swimmers and abilities. Having fun and interacting with our swimmers is an important part of the role! A strong focus is placed on providing survival swim techniques living out the British Swim School mission and making a big impact on decreasing drowning.
This position requires the successful completion of a background screening and pre-employment drug screen.
