The Assistant Teacher (floater) provides consistent support across classrooms, stepping in where needed to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all students. This role is essential in maintaining smooth daily operations and fostering a strong sense of community among staff and children.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director and Lead Teachers to assist, supervise, and actively engage with students.
  • Provide classroom coverage and support as needed throughout the shift.
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and welcoming classroom environment.
  • Contribute ideas, creativity, and teamwork to strengthen the program.
  • Assist in fostering a strong sense of community among staff, students, and families.
  • Attend all required staff meetings and professional development trainings.
