Physical Therapy Assistant: 45 – 55 Per Hour | Full-Time | Santa Ana, CA | School-Based | 2026-2027 school year |

About the Role

Plan and deliver specialized therapy techniques through individual or group sessions to meet the goals outlined in the Individual Education Plans (IEP). Provide therapy to children aged 0 to 22 with various medical diagnoses, including orthopedic impairments and developmental disorders.

What You'll Do

  • Instruction: Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate therapy into classroom-based activities. Partner with a Physical Therapist to discuss and refine treatment plans, ensuring supervision and alignment with therapeutic goals. Engage with parents to incorporate their child's therapy program into daily routines.

What We're Looking For

Must Have

  • Licensure: Current Physical Therapy Assistant License in the state where services are delivered.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred

  • One year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
  • Experience with school-based caseload management
