About the role
Provide school-based mental health services to a diverse neurodivergent student population ranging from elementary through high school ages, including students with autism spectrum disorders and co-occurring mental health needs. This role focuses on facilitating therapeutic groups, supporting emotional regulation, strengthening social development, and promoting overall student well-being while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families.

What you'll do
- Lead structured and process-based group therapy sessions
- Develop and implement group curricula targeting emotional regulation, social skills, and academic stress management
- Provide individual therapy services as needed
- Document student progress, treatment notes, and clinical updates
- Collaborate with educational teams, administrators, and families
- Support crisis intervention and behavioral stabilization when necessary
- Maintain compliance with school and clinical documentation requirements
What we're looking for
Must have
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field
- Active California LMFT, LPCC, LCSW license or associate registration (AMFT, ASW, APCC) with the Board of Behavioral Sciences, or Cleared PPS credential through CTC
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
- Experience facilitating group therapy with adolescents
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
Preferred
- Experience working with neurodivergent populations, specifically autism spectrum disorders
- Familiarity with CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities
- School-based or educational setting experience
- Experience supporting adolescents with co-occurring mental health diagnoses
Physical requirements
- Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, handling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations
