About the Role

Join Overtime Athletics DMV as a Youth Basketball Instructor, where you'll inspire young athletes to develop their skills and passion for the game. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on youth sports in a fun and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basketball training sessions for youth of various skill levels.
• Create and implement age-appropriate drills and activities.
• Provide constructive feedback to help players improve their techniques.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
• Monitor player progress and adjust training plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with other instructors to enhance program offerings.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities.
• Engage with parents and guardians to discuss player development.

Requirements

• Experience playing or coaching basketball, preferably at the youth level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Knowledge of basketball fundamentals and training techniques.
• Patience and enthusiasm for working with children.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Background check clearance required.
