About the Role

Join Overtime Athletics DMV as a Weekend Youth Tennis Instructor and inspire the next generation of tennis stars! This exciting role is perfect for those who love working with kids and want to share their passion for tennis in a fun and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging tennis lessons for youth of varying skill levels.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate training programs.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
• Assess and track student progress and provide feedback.
• Organize and manage tennis drills and games.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development.
• Promote teamwork and sportsmanship among participants.

Requirements

• Previous experience teaching tennis to youth preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tennis techniques and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Passion for sports and youth development.
• Positive attitude and a team player mentality.

Scheduling

Looking for a youth tennis instructor to work weekend beginner level clinics on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Could work up to 7 different tennis programs each weekend.

Compensation

$25.00 per hour
