Job description

Mbc tysons disability ministry internship description: __________________________________________________________________________

Who should apply for an mbc internship?

The internship program is designed for high school graduates, college students, and recent college grads who are walking closely with Jesus and would like to spend the summer working in with the disability community and discipling the next generation. We are looking for interns with a heart for those in the disability community and a desire to serve them and their families well.

What will the internship involve?

Ministry involves many types of work, from administrative tasks, to teaching Bible lessons, to planning curriculum and organizing camp outings. As an Access intern, you’ll serve meaningfully in both operations and disciple-making roles during our weekly programing and at our special events. You will also assist with the planning and execution of our Access summer camps and events. Additionally, you will receive intentional training and discipleship from the NextGen team to develop you as a faithful servant of Jesus.

What are the expectations of an mbc intern?

Internship dates are June 7 – August 12, 2026. Access Interns can expect to work 30 hours/week on non-camp weeks with set office hours across Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday as well as special events on Fridays and Saturdays.
