Core responsibilities
The speech language pathologist will provide engaging, individualized speech therapy for children aged birth to three using a play-Based approach in various settings, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and feeding disorders. This role involves educating families, implementing care plans, collaborating within the ifsp team, and developing/Adapting necessary communication equipment.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in speech-Language therapy or a similar field, current washington state licensure, and asha certificate of clinical competence. Desired experience includes one to two years working with preschool children with developmental disabilities, along with a valid driver's license and successful completion of required background checks.
