Sign Language Interpreter/Tutor - Certified

The role involves facilitating communication between users and non-Users of sign language in educational settings by interpreting/Transliterating between spoken english and sign language. Responsibilities also include serving as a liaison, assisting with deaf awareness orientation, and potentially providing tutoring services to dhh students.

A minimum of one to three years of sign language interpreting or transliterating experience is preferred, and candidates must possess the educational interpreter-Sign language (Pse/Asl) - Cde certification. An associate's degree in education of the deaf is also listed as an educational requirement.
