Teacher's Aide

The teacher's aide assists the head teacher in preparing and delivering daily activities, actively participating with children during all activities and playtimes to ensure quality experiences. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness of materials and promptly communicating any program, staff, child, or parent concerns to the supervisor.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and have previous experience working with children, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with children, families, and staff. Certification in connecticut child care, adult & child cpr is required within 90 days of employment, alongside good oral and written communication skills.
