Professor of Practice or Assistant Professor of Nursing

Responsibilities include classroom and clinical instruction with a teaching load of 12 credits per semester, alongside course development, student evaluation, and serving on university and department committees. Faculty will also serve as academic advisors to students and perform other assigned duties.

Required qualifications include a master’s degree in nursing, two years of clinical nursing experience, and an unrestricted iowa nursing license or eligibility for licensure via the nurse licensure compact. A doctoral degree and experience in obstetrics and/Or pediatrics are preferred qualifications.
