Before and After School Counselor II

The counselor ii will be responsible for providing a safe, inclusive, and enriching childcare experience for children aged 5-12, serving as a mentor and role model. Essential functions include ensuring child safety, leading diverse recreational and educational activities, managing groups, and supporting positive behavior guidance.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and meet the minimum qualifications for a 'lead teacher' as defined by the va department of education. Required certifications include cpr/First aid within 30 days of hire, and all pre-Employment requirements like background checks must be completed.
