Job description

Overview Supporting the Director of Graduate Jewish Education, the Program Coordinator provides support in the areas of recruitment, conference coordination and other administrative tasks and other administrative tasks relating to the Program and/or operations for the Graduate School of Education (GSE). This position interacts with faculty, students, external educational partnerships, and potential applicants to the program.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain databases of candidate and graduate information Assist faculty/adjuncts with designing courses via Canvas Learning Management System Provide administrative support to the Director and faculty as it pertains to the creation of new courses and certificate programs Assist in all aspects of recruitment of new candidates, including outreach to new Memo of Understanding (MOU) cohorts Host one-on-one and group advisement sessions for perspective students Manage administration of MOU partnership cohorts Manage operational aspects of all conferences and special programs Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree in Education or related field preferred. Some administrative experience required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to manage multiple tasks independently. Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook. Proficiency in Zoom. Knowledge of Canvas is a plus. Ability to read and understand Hebrew is a plus. Travel Occasional travel within the tri-state area for conference attendance/conference planning. Maximum Salary USD $58,000.00/Yr. Minimum Salary USD $46,400.00/Yr.
