i9 Sports offers youth sports leagues, camps and clinics for boys and girls ages 3-15 in today’s most popular sports such as Flag Football, Soccer, basketball and Baseball. With our focus on fun, safety, convenience, good sportsmanship, and age appropriate instruction i9 Sports is reinventing the youth sports experience for families across the country.

Founded in Tampa, Florida, i9 Sports® is the nation’s first and largest youth sports league franchise business in the United States with over 1 million registrations in more than 500 communities from New York to Hawaii. We were established in 2003 by Frank Fiume on the principle that the number one reason kids play organized sports is to have fun, not to become the next draft pick.

Personality Requirements

  • Must be 18yrs old
  • Clean Background Check
  • Passion for athletics and youth development
  • Strong ability to communicate and teach sports rules and techniques
  • Enjoys working with children and helping them learn and have fun
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with volunteer coaches, parents, and other staff
  • Energetic, proactive, and enjoys staying busy and involved

Job Description

Sport Instructor:

Set up game day equipment and fields.

Assist coaches with organizing practice spaces.

Engage with teams, helping players understand drills and improve skills.

Address any questions or concerns from parents on the sidelines.

Ensure all players are appropriately dressed and equipped.

Conduct a summary review of rules with officials, players and coaches.

Manage and supervise a team of officials.

Officiate games while providing instructional guidance.

Help players understand rules and improve their gameplay.
