Preschool Substitute Aide (Temporary, On-Call)

The aide assists in providing a developmentally appropriate learning environment for approximately 20 children in preschool programs, supporting daily classroom lessons, small group instruction, and student observation/Assessment. Responsibilities also include supervising student behavior according to health and safety guidelines and providing necessary program and clerical support.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or ged, good interpersonal skills, the ability to organize varied work activities, and strong written and oral communication skills. Preferred qualifications include a cda or aa in early childhood education and sensitivity to hawaiian culture and protestant religion curriculum.
