Social Worker

The social worker delivers clinical social work services to adult patients and their families, including performing psychosocial assessments and providing treatment such as crisis intervention and counseling. This role involves collaborating with the health care team on care plans and consulting with providers regarding patient needs and community resources.

The minimum requirement is an msw from an accredited program, and the candidate must obtain new york state licensure within eighteen months of employment. Prior clinical experience in a medical setting and supervisory experience are preferred qualifications.
