Responsibilities

Central Maine Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach Clinical Nursing. The instructor will deliver curriculum and use a learning management system as it pertains to the clinical setting. The Clinical Nursing Adjunct Faculty member provides supervision, instruction, and evaluation of nursing students in clinical learning environments. This role supports the mission and outcomes of the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program by facilitating safe, evidence-based, and student-centered clinical experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

Hold a current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maine. Possess a minimum of two (2) years of relevant clinical nursing experience in a direct patient care setting. Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited institution. Previous teaching experience in a pre-licensure nursing program or clinical instruction setting.
