Silver Sneakers Instructor - Spring Grove YMCA

The instructor will lead two engaging silversneakers classes per week for active older adults, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and overall well-Being in a safe and supportive environment. Essential functions include conducting safe and effective classes, building relationships with participants, and maintaining program quality according to ymca standards.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old, requiring a valid cpr pro/Aed/First aid certification before teaching. A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience instructing or participating in group exercise classes is necessary, along with completing mandatory ymca training within the first three months of hire.
