Community Habilitation Specialist - Staten Island (Part Time)

The community habilitation specialist provides ongoing training and personal assistance to participants with disabilities, promoting independence and community inclusion. They work with minimal supervision to implement individualized habilitation plans and support participants in various activities.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and preferably some college experience working with people with disabilities. They should also possess computer literacy and the ability to travel to support participants in their homes or communities.
