Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) assist in implementing therapeutic treatment programs and evaluate the progress of residents. They also act as client advocates and provide supervision to ensure safety and therapeutic boundaries.
A bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field is required. Candidates must also have a valid and clean NYS Driver's license for at least 3 years.

Under general supervision, perform duties as a residential representative of the client treatment team, including completing initial assessments, developing and implementing activities and programs, collecting data, and facilitating client progress.
May be assigned to other Richmond Community Services locations throughout the state of New York. Requires bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or related field. Must have a valid and clean NYS Driver's license for at least 3 years and maintain Richmond driver authorization.
