DeafBlind Coordinator, Tactile ASL Interpreter

This role involves providing tactile american sign language interpretation and coordinating volunteer interpreters for client appointments and classes, while also leading weekly tactile asl and protactile communication classes for the deafblind community. The coordinator will also support volunteer recruitment, training, and collaborate on program improvements across southern california centers.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred, alongside a minimum of two years of interpreting experience. Certification or proof of fluency in interpreting tactile american sign language and protactile is mandatory, with relevant training and cultural knowledge preferred.
