Job Description
Provides orientation and enrollment support for all new members of the Jobs-Plus program Reviews and completes all forms required for successful enrollment into the program Follows up on all no shows and reschedules their appointments Conducts group orientations Guides members to available online options services and automated tools, learning tools and enrolls members in Learning Metrix Trains members on various literacy topics of interest Teaches basic Microsoft Software courses, Pre-GED courses through Google Classroom Administers quarterly TABE test examinations to individuals to demonstrate progression Contacts potential members provided by outreach staff Performs Job Readiness training components on a weekly basis Job Readiness Training components on a weekly basis Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. One to two years in workforce development or related field preferred. Strong project management skills, including managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Internet Research, and social media. Outcome driven, strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform programmatic decisions. Highly motivated, with proven capacity to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in high-paced entrepreneurial environment. Flexible, with availability to work a weeknight and occasional Saturdays. Community and social service experience working with non-for profit or other community / workforce services agency. Knowledge and use of Salesforce or other database not required but helpful
