Job Status: Seasonal Season Dates: September 2026 through May 2027

Adventure Christian School is seeking a committed and energetic Assistant Coach for the ACS Stunt Team. This individual will support the Head Coach in developing student-athletes both athletically and spiritually, while helping build a competitive, disciplined, and Christ-centered program.

Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices, workouts, and competitions Teach and develop stunt-specific skills including partner stunts, pyramids, jumps, and routines Help implement strength, conditioning, and injury-prevention training Provide individual and team instruction focused on skill progression and safety Assist with game-day/competition preparation, setup, and execution Promote teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture Support supervision of student-athletes during practices, competitions, and team events Assist with film review, scouting, and performance evaluation (if applicable) Help communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration Ensure compliance with all school, league, and CIF guidelines Other duties as assigned by Director of Athletics

Qualifications

Prior experience in stunt, cheer, gymnastics, or related field preferred Knowledge of stunt techniques, safety standards, and progressions Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work collaboratively under the direction of the Head Coach CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Must pass all required background checks and clearances Physical Requirements Position requires moderate physical exertion associated with the ability to lift, carry, push, pull or climb. Position requires physical capability for sustained physical work, requires strength and endurance associated with moderate physical effort. Position requires moderate physical effort while performing continuous moderate lifting. Lifting 50 lbs. maximum or carrying an object up to 25 lbs.
