The teacher will evaluate, monitor, and track the progress of children aged birth-5, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to determine realistic goals. Responsibilities also include recording evaluation and progress information using the electronic medical record system and adhering to all state laws pertaining to early intervention and special education.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess current new york state licensure and/Or certification in special education, including nys teaching certification in b-2nd grade students with disabilities or permanent certification. A master’s degree is preferred, along with knowledge of ms word, computer comfort, a valid driver’s license, and early childhood experience.
