Core responsibilities
The virtual special education teacher will assist in implementing individualized education plans (Ieps), writing them timely, and participating in the multi-Tiered system of supports (Mtss). Responsibilities also include working 1:1, in small groups, or in whole class sessions, administering assessments, and collaborating with various staff and parents.
Requirements summary
Candidates should ideally possess a master's degree and current state certification/Licensure in the appropriate area, with a preference for three years of teaching experience, including at least two in special education. Strong content knowledge, familiarity with state testing, and proficiency in computer applications are essential.
