Paraprofessional Teacher

Assist teachers in delivering differentiated instruction aligned with student iep goals, utilizing assistive technology as needed, and collaborating with special education and general education teachers on modifications and interventions. Responsibilities also include coordinating special education requirements, assessing student mastery against state standards, preparing students for standardized tests, and maintaining regular communication with stakeholders regarding student progress.

Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma and one year of experience supporting students, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with the ability to pass a required background search. Other requirements include proficiency in microsoft office and web applications, excellent communication and time management skills, and the ability to travel 20% of the time.
