Associate Teacher

The associate teacher provides quality primary caregiving for young children in an early care and education setting, promoting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development under the center director's guidance. Key duties include relationship-Based care during routines, planning and implementing curriculum, conducting assessments, and maintaining professional family relationships.

Candidates must possess an associate teacher permit from the commission on teacher credentialing and have 15 units in early childhood education (Ece), including core courses and infant/Toddler care units. Preferred qualifications include bilingual skills in spanish/English or an asian language/English, and the ability to work harmoniously in a multicultural team.
