Floater Teacher

The floater teacher provides quality caregiving for preschool-Aged children or infants and toddlers under the center director's guidance, promoting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in a safe setting. Key duties include providing breaks for teachers, substituting when necessary, assisting with implementing daily activities, and maintaining professional relationships with families.

Candidates should possess an associate teacher permit preferred or an assistant teacher permit while actively pursuing an associate teacher permit, along with 6-12 units in early childhood education including core courses. Preference is given to candidates who are bilingual in spanish/English or an asian language/English and are willing to obtain 6 infant/Toddler units within the first year if not already held.
