Dental Hygienist

The dental hygienist performs preventive clinical services such as prophylaxis, sealant application, oral hygiene education, and taking radiographs under the direction of the chief dental officer. This role also involves preparing instruments, maintaining cleanliness, developing educational programs, and serving as an instructor for dental hygiene students.

Candidates must be graduates of a dental hygienist program and licensed by the north carolina board of dentistry, possessing knowledge of dental clinic standards and the ability to communicate technical terminology effectively. Two years of experience is preferred, along with strong cognitive reasoning and organizational skills.
