Job description

Austin Peay State University is currently seeking part-time, temporary, instructors in the area of Radiation Therapy, Radiography, and Medical Laboratory Science. The Department is seeking an individual proficient in radiation therapy and/or radiography didactics and medical laboratory science clinical practice and didactic education.

  • Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Teach in the area of Radiation Therapy, Radiography, and Medical Laboratory Science based on demand from semester to semester.
  • Interested candidates must be certified in the discipline for which they are applying.

  • Didactic and clinical instruction as needed.

Physical Requirements Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects.

  • Required Minimum Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree and certification in appropriate discipline; OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree and minimum of five (5) years applicable clinical experience in appropriate discipline.
  • For the Medical Laboratory Science position, MT or MLS certification is required.
  • For the Radiologic Technology positions, RT certification is required.
