Preschool Special Education Speech Therapist

The speech & language pathologist is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans for students with speech and language needs. Key duties include assessing skills, providing mandated therapy services, consulting with colleagues, and communicating extensively with parents.

Candidates must possess a master’s degree in speech-Language pathology and either a new york state certificate as a teacher of the speech and hearing handicapped or teacher of students with speech and language disabilities, or a nys professional license as a speech language pathologist.
