Head Start Instructional Assistant

The instructional assistant implements instructional experiences for preschool children under the teacher's direction to support their social, emotional, physical, and educational development. This role involves assisting in creating engaging learning experiences, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting the teacher with assessments and documentation.

Candidates must possess knowledge of early childhood development and experience working in a team and with children, along with reliable transportation. A high school diploma or ged is required, along with a child development associate (Cda) credential or enrollment in a program with completion expected within two years of hire.
