Recreation Assistant

The recreation assistant develops and facilitates diverse recreation programs such as music, arts and crafts, and nature study, while also promoting and coordinating participation in various clubs and organizations. This role involves working closely with the residential treatment team to ensure recreation is balanced and integrated with special services, alongside maintaining equipment and completing necessary daily documentation.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a related field like recreation therapy or psychology and must have or be able to pass lifeguard certification. Required experience includes working with youth, and preferred experience involves working with at-Risk youth or in areas like wilderness therapy or art.
