Vocational Specialist

The vocational specialist engages clients with mental health concerns to help them achieve personal objectives related to mental health improvement, employment, and education goals. This role involves developing relationships with job sites and community partners to identify employment opportunities and support clients through the process of obtaining and maintaining employment and educational success.

A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, along with knowledge of human development, family systems issues, and community resources for behavioral health disorders. Candidates must possess advocacy and teaching skills, a valid driver's license, and be willing to work towards vocational sep certification within two years.
