Job description
SUMMARY
Support Social Skills Groups for children and teens with autism. Groups are formed based upon age and abilities of participants. Responsibilities
Greet children and parents upon arrival at their group, take attendance for assigned groups. Assist Group Facilitator(s) in setting up activities and materials. Assist Group Facilitator(s) in conducting Social Skills Group activities. Complete clean-up following groups. Implement individualized treatment plans. Rate Treatment Support Assessments weekly. Attend trainings and staff meetings associated with Social Skills Groups. Oversee dismissal of participants to parents, caregivers and/or others on their Authorized to Pick Up List.
Minimum Qualifications
Flexible work schedule including some nights and weekends when groups are running. Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and some experience supporting individuals with autism. Willingness to work as a team member in a rapidly expanding NON-PROFIT agency.
