The Camp Counselor is responsible for assisting in implementing all components of the Summer Program curriculum within his/her designated age group of campers, in a manner that is reflective of KCARC’s mission to advocate and provide opportunities in a dignified and respectful manner for the total well-being of individuals and families with special needs and non-disabled children ages 5 to12, and all other duties as assigned.
Must be at least 16 years of age to apply. Possess the ability to use tact and empathy when dealing with children/people of varied backgrounds. Possess the ability to establish effective working relationships. Possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
