Early Childhood Educator Aide - LEARN - Juneau

The early childhood educator aide assists early childhood educators and the administrator in all aspects of the child care center, including carrying out lesson plans and supporting large and small groups of children. Essential functions involve assisting with group management, evaluating activity appropriateness, preparing materials, and providing direct care such as feeding and toileting support.

A minimum requirement for this role is a high school diploma or equivalent, coupled with two years of experience working with young children in a group setting. Preferred qualifications include a current first aid/Cpr certificate and a child development associate certificate.
