Assistant Professor Rhetoric & Professional Writing (One-Year, Temporary)

The successful candidate will teach 24 credit hours per year, primarily in-Person, covering courses like introductory professional writing, rhetorical theory, and writing for community organizations. They are also expected to fully participate in department planning, assessment, and recruitment activities.

Applicants must have an earned ph.d. In technical communication, composition and rhetoric, or a closely related field to be considered for assistant professor, or be abd for the instructor rank. Required experience includes demonstrated success in teaching introductory through advanced writing courses and mentoring a broad spectrum of undergraduate students.
