Core responsibilities

The evening school social worker will provide individual and small group counseling to address students’ social-Emotional needs, offer crisis response, and support behavior management strategies to maintain a safe learning environment. This role also involves collaborating with staff on intervention plans, connecting students to community resources, supporting iep compliance, and mentoring students for persistence and graduation readiness.

Requirements summary

A master of social work (Msw) and lsw or lcsw licensure are required for this position, with a preference for school social worker certification and three or more years of experience in school social work or youth case management.
