The RBT Apprentice implements skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans for students with special education needs under the supervision of a BCBA. They provide educational instruction, collect data, and support students' daily living activities within a classroom setting.

Work: This is a full-time, 185-day calendar position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. 7.5 hours per day of work are based on the location assignment and are dependent on the needs of the program. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

o Associate or bachelor’s Degree o At least 48 college/university credits o A high school diploma or equivalency and successfully pass a local assessment. (Bucks IU considers that a Credential of Competency from the Pennsylvania Department of Education meets this requirement for those individuals who do not have at least 48 college/university credits or an Associate or Bachelor degree.) o Must have worked Extended School Year through the Bucks County IU.
