Instructors must skillfully and safely use various Pilates equipment, including Mat and Reformer, to deliver creative group experiences while demonstrating anatomical knowledge and providing necessary modifications for clients with limitations. Responsibilities also include staying updated with Club Pilates education standards, developing safe and challenging class plans, and providing instruction for Intro classes, group apparatus classes, and private/semi-private training.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 200-450+ hour comprehensive Pilates education, including Mat and Reformer training, and demonstrate confidence in teaching all client levels safely. Essential qualifications include a pleasant demeanor, excellent customer service skills, professional communication, and a willingness to evolve with industry developments and attend continued education.
