About the role

The Certified Athletic Trainer will educate student-athletes on injury prevention while evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries. This role also requires collaborating with healthcare providers to coordinate care and maintaining accurate documentation and reports.

The Certified Athletic Trainer will work directly with student-athletes at local high schools. Responsibilities include educating athletes on injury prevention, as well as evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries. This role also involves collaborating with healthcare providers to coordinate care and maintaining accurate documentation and reports.

Schedule

Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks Hours vary between clinic and high school sporting events Athletic coverage during the afternoon, evening, and some weekend events, as needed

Pay and Benefits

  • Starting pay begins at $52,416.00 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
  • Pay range: $52,416.00-$80,217.70 per year Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field required; Master’s degree preferred Licensed as an Athletic Trainer with MN Board of Medical Practice 2+ years of experience in athletic training setting, preferred Valid driver's license in good standing, required BLS certified, required

To be eligible for the relocation bonus you must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away and relocate to within 30 miles of primary work location within 120 days. CentraCare hiring incentives to include but not limited to, sign-on and relocation bonuses may be discontinued at any time.
