Florida Scholars Academy Instructor Ocala, FL (On-Site)

The instructor provides an educational atmosphere to help students reach their full potential, focusing on remediation, acceleration, and academic growth for at-Risk students in residential facilities for the florida department of juvenile justice. Responsibilities include planning and implementing engaging instruction, supervising students, maintaining records, managing classroom discipline, and evaluating student progress.

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/University and a valid florida professional teaching certificate in the assigned content area are required, or proof of active enrollment in an approved teacher preparation program with appropriate temporary certification. Experience in the subject area or completion of an flvs internship is also necessary, alongside strong technology skills and classroom management abilities.
