Description of the Position
- (Purpose of the
- Position): Upward Bound hosts approximately 120 UB students on campus each summer for an annual six-week academic residential summer program. Students live in a residence hall from Sunday evening to Friday afternoon, returning home every weekend. Classroom assistants work to support Lead Teachers in classes offered throughout the summer and work with their Leads and students Monday through Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities
Assist Lead Teachers in curriculum development ● Assist Lead Teachers in instruction and teaching in assigned curriculum areas ● Correct, and evaluate student work, when appropriate ● Play active role in classroom programming ● Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment ● Participate in extracurricular activities, when appropriate ● Ensure students/staff are following all St. Olaf, and UB rules and guidelines ● Attend staff meetings and complete other duties as assigned
