Core responsibilities
Assistant teachers directly support the lead teacher in executing daily lessons for preschool children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, while also being encouraged to grow into lead teacher roles. Responsibilities include professional communication with parents and staff, using technology to track child progress, and maintaining a safe, structured learning environment.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and demonstrate flexibility in challenging situations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build strong relationships. A commitment to professional development and effective decision-Making is also required, along with meeting all state requirements.
