Company Overview i9 Sports offers youth sports programs for kids ages 3-14 in today's most popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, tennis, volleyball, and baseball. With our focus on fun, safety, convenience, and good sportsmanship.

Job Summary The Flag Football Instructor is a hands-on position that will provide instruction to kids. The Sport Instructor is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun for all age groups (3-14 years old)
  • Set up and clean up sports fields/equipment
  • Saturday & Sunday shifts-outdoors (~8:00 am-1:00 pm)
  • Ensure that all players receive multiple opportunities to run and catch the ball, regardless of their skill level
  • Communicate game day information to players and parents on the field
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills/public speaking
  • Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
  • Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently and collaborate with team members
  • Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends (for the full duration of the season, ~6 weeks increments)
  • Must have reliable transportation

Requirements

Candidates must possess excellent communication and public speaking skills, along with sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge. A highly motivated self-starter attitude is required, along with reliable transportation and availability for weekend and some evening shifts during the season.
