The Speech Language Pathologist provides evidence-based speech and language therapy using pull-out and push-in models based on IEPs, collaborating with teachers to integrate goals into the general curriculum. Responsibilities also include drafting IEP reports, attending meetings, providing guidance to staff, and maintaining accurate documentation of services and progress.

Position Overview Supervised by the Assistant Principal of Student Services, the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides services for students with speech, language, and hearing impairments, helping students to adjust and access the general education curriculum.
The SLP collaborates with teachers to support high impact language intervention and evaluations.
Successful NSLPs consistently help students achieve - collecting, analyzing, and implementing data-based strategies regularly for both the students on their caseload and also students that have been identified as needing additional support.
The SLP is in current possession of ASHA Certification and New York State license for Speech-Language Pathology.
